Main Event: Anthony Smith vs Ryan Spann (Light Heavyweight)

The fight began evenly with both men trading shots on the feet. Smith then dropped Spann with a left hook. Smith attempted to set up an armbar, but Spann escaped. Smith then hurt Spann with several punches, dropping Spann, which then enabled him to maneuver into taking Spann’s back. Smith flattened out Spann which led to a rear-naked choke hold. Spann was unable to escape, giving Smith the win.

Co-main Event: Ion Cutelaba vs Devin Clark (Light Heavyweight)

As expected, Cutelaba came out aggressive in the first round. Clark got dropped and out grappled throughout the round and mounted at the end. A huge first round for Cutelaba.

The second round showcased more of the same from Cutelaba. Grappling domination and he even mounted Clark again. Clark did his best to fight back but never really had an answer for the pressure of Cutelaba.

It was revealed prior to the third round that Clark had several broken teeth, but he chose to fight on. He came out knowing he needed a finish to win. He had some good spells of striking and taking Cutelaba down towards the end of the round. This was Clark’s best round although he was unable to put together any consistent pressure.

The solid round from Clark was not enough however, and Cutelaba won the fight by unanimous decision (29-27, 29-26, 30-26) after three rounds.

Results From the Rest of the Card

Ariane Lipski welcomed newcomer Mandy Bohm in harsh style with a dominating unanimous decision victory. Lipski got the better of what was an all-striking battle and even dropped Bohm a few times.

Nate Maness and Tony Gravely had a wild fight. Maness was dropped at the end of the first round and perhaps saved by the bell. However, Maness rallied to TKO Gravely after a right uppercut and ground strikes.

After a tough loss in his last fight, Joaquin Buckley broke through the defenses of Brazilian, Antonio Arroyo, who looked comfortable early. However, it was the power of Buckley that finished the fight, connecting with a right hook and uppercut followed by ground punches.

Former title challenger Raquel Pennington was able to secure a victory for a second straight time, defeating up and comer Pannie Kianzad. In a matchup that basically completely played out in the clinch, Pennington was able to just about get the better of Kianzad, snapping her four-fight win streak in the process.

Lastly, Hannah Goldy got the night started with a fast finish over Emily Whitmire. Whitmire got off to a great start controlling Goldy on the ground, but Goldy was able to catch Whitmire with an armbar.
