Carr Out, Kyler Murray In?

There's talks across the league that Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray is likely landing with the Arizona Cardinals first overall. If not the Raiders could be another possible suitor. Peter King of NBC Sports reported Monday that Gruden “loves” Murray and is “very interested” in trying to snag him come draft night. There's been a lot of talk and speculation about what the Raiders would do with Quarterback Derek Carr this off season after a very poor 2019 campaign. It was reported over the weekend that they were shopping Carr during the scouting combine however it's not widely believed that they’re seriously considering moving on from him. But let's not forget Gruden is the same man who traded away talents like Khalil Mack and Amari Cooper.

Ab in Silver and Black?

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported over the weekend that the Raiders are one of three teams who have showed the most interest in disgruntled Steelers' receiver Antonio Brown. The Raiders have a huge need at receiver after the Cooper trade and Brown would be a huge upgrade. They have the ammo to trade for Brown. It just comes down to if their willing to pull the trigger.

Karl Joseph Back for Year 5

Safety Karl Joseph will be a Raider next year after the team picked up the fifth year of his contract over the weekend. A former first round pick, Joseph recorded 48 tackles, 2 sacks and an interception in 2018. The Raiders had on of the worst secondaries in football last year but Joseph is only 25 years old and his potential warrants this move.
