The Vegas Golden Knights have re-signed defenseman Brayden McNabb, forward Michael Amadio and goaltender Logan Thompson, the team announced Sunday.

McNabb received a three year extension through the 2024-25 season with an average annual value of $2,850,000. The 31-year-old defenseman has two goals and seven assists in 45 games this season while leading the NHL in blocked shots (110).

The veteran defenseman is on pace for his best season for the Golden Knights in terms of points production, while remaining a stalwart on the blue line.

Amadio signed an extension of his own for two years to take him through 2023-24 with an average annual value of $762,000. The Sault Ste. Marie native has made a solid impact in the Golden Knights lineup in his 25 games this season, notching a modest four goals and three assists for seven points.

First year Knight Amadio is on pace to have a career year as well, tying his second most goals in a season for his career in 12 less games with Vegas.

Lastly, Thompson signed a three year extension through 2024-25 worth $766,667 a year. The young netminder made his first NHL start this year against the Nashville Predators Jan. 4, which was a 3-2 loss for the VGK.

Thompson has backstopped the AHL affiliate Henderson Silver Knights for two years, appearing in 44 career games and finding himself going 27-13-4 in the blue paint.

Many view Thompson as the next No. 1 goalie for the Vegas Golden Knights, and this extension at a very cheap rate will allow the VGK to see what he is made of when he gets the call to the NHL full-time.
